How ClearedUp Works
Accurate answers to common questions — built in an easy to read format.
Our goal
Most advice online is either overly alarmist, buried in ads, or written to sell you something. ClearedUp is different. We focus on accuracy, context, and well-informed decision-making.
How answers are created
Each page is written from sources like:
- Public safety guidance and established best practices
- Manufacturer instructions and product documentation
- Common real-world usage scenarios
We summarize into plain language so you can get to the point quickly.
Affiliate links
Some links may be affiliate links. If you buy through those links, ClearedUp may earn a small commission.
We don’t recommend unsafe products, ever. If something doesn’t meet minimum safety standards, we don’t include it — even when it would pay more.
What ClearedUp is (and isn’t)
ClearedUp is
- A reference site for everyday safety questions
- Designed for quick checks and peace of mind
- Written to reduce confusion, not increase fear
ClearedUp is not
- A replacement for professional medical, legal, veterinary, or technical advice
- A news site
- A discussion forum
Information on ClearedUp is for general reference only and should not replace professional medical, veterinary, legal, or technical advice.
